There is a possibility that I could attend a psych conference sometime between August 2010-January 2011. Is anyone aware of interesting psych conferences in the US during this time?

I've done some googling and I seem to have better luck finding psych conferences outside the USA. Ireland and Australia seem to have some good ones, but being that I'm a poor resident, anyone know of any on this side of the globe?

Thanks

A couple of those look pretty interesting. Thank you.

Would you be aware of any conferences that are more therapy related?

American Group Psychotherapy Association
http://www.agpa.org/
They have several scholarships to pay for residents to attend the annual meeting. Fantastic meeting and a great learning opportunity.

Also the AGPA has regional affiliates (eg., Northern California Group Psychotherapy Society, Puget Sound Group Psychotherapy Network, etc). Info should be posted on their web site somewhere. The regional societies have their own quarterly/annual conferences.

American Psychoanalytic Association
http://www.apsa.org/Programs/Fellowship_Program/General_Information.aspx
They also have a resident fellowship program that provides mentorship and funding for conference attendance.
