I just received my scores for the psychology subject test. I received a 670, but it was in the 65th percentile. I am shocked because I took several practice tests and never got below an 89th percentile. My scores were already sent off to some of my programs, but do you think this will hurt my app? (I'm applying to all PsyD programs and one PhD). My regular GREs are 148 Q, 152 M, 4.0 writing. GPA: 3.6 Psych GPA: 3.8. I have research and clinical experience. Also, should I send it to the programs that say they "recommend" it but it's not required?

I scored lower than I expected to and just didn't bother sending it to the "recommended" programs. I don't know what would be best for your situation. Which programs are you applying to?

Here are the programs that already have my scores:
University of South Alabama Clinical PhD
University of Indianapolis Clinical PsyD
University of Hartford Clinical PsyD
Antioch Clinical PsyD
Wright State Clinical PsyD

Here are the programs that recommend it:
NOVA Clinical PsyD
Florida Tech Clinical PsyD
Pacific Clinical PsyD
MSPP Clinical PsyD

Can someone please tell me if I should send me scores to those programs?

Standard rule of thumb is if it is not required, and it will not strengthen your application, then don't send it.
