Psychiatric Cases on Step 2 CS

So I'm 4 days out from my CS exam and here's the dilemma. I'm looking through First Aid and for both the "physical exam" and the "work up" it lists mental status exam.

Does anyone know how to interpret this? What do you think I need to do in order to at least get credit for the "physical exam" portion? Are psych patients history only?

Many psychiatric complaints warrant some element of physical exam. For instance, you might want to examine the thyroid in a depressed or manic patient.

Mostly I wrote out the psych-style mental status exam as it is a kind of physical exam.
