Hello all,
Was wondering what works and what doesn't work when looking for a psychiatric attending job. I was thinking of writing letters to various hospitals to see if they had a need (though I wasn't sure where to send it to within the hospitals). I feel (perhaps unfairly) that the jobs which are advertised probably have huge catches not noted, hence the need to advertise for the job. Thought it might be better to try to create a position for myself somewhere. I'm currently a C-L fellow and would be open to anything other than inpatient (which I've always loathed). All advice greatly appreciated!
