okay i was wondering if anyone knows where i could find a psychiatrist to shadow in the los angeles area. carson,ca 90745 to be more specific. where would i look? or if there are websites devoted to things like this i would appreciate it..

Look on the internet for LA pp psychiatrists. Contact all of them. Don't get your hopes up.

Might be easier to go through the volunteer services dept of your nearest large teaching hospital that has inpatient psych, then get vetted/trained/certified officially to volunteer and try to arrange inpatient shadowing or volunteering on inpatient unit. See more pathology that way, too.

Thanks for the link, actually. It led me to stumble upon the articles about the folks over at lapsychiatry.com. Got some good procrastination out of that.
