Does General Psychology research that isn't medically related add much to an application? I am probably primarily applying DO but throwing some MD schools into the mix because I have borderline stats with a strong upward trend. Is all research experience more or less weighted the same?

not sure if this is accurate but several (including my university advisor) have said the field of research you do doesn't really matter - any research looks good
