PT license in IL

I was wondering if anyone has gotten licensed in IL or is in the process of doing so. I applied for my IL license over a month ago and am still waiting for them to get to my application for review. They are almost 2 months behind and it has taken them 2 weeks to get through one day of applications. At this rate I feel like it will be Christmas before I get my license. I have a job I am waiting on my license to start at and I have bills to pay and student loans and really need to start working. I’m so frustrated and don’t know what else to do but wait. I’ve called to check on it weekly and even contacted the IL APTA and just been told all I can do is wait it out. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I had a terrible experience with TN. It took about 5-6 months for me to get a license and that was with already having an Ohio license. I didnt end up ever going to TN so I wasnt crazy about the wait but I if I really needed it I would have been pissed. Think it had something to do with the board only meeting every once in a while which was BS.
