I graduated in 2011 with a degree in biology did not apply to any schools I took the year off to learn more about physical therapy I am trilingual so I decided to learn more about the body in all three languages. My second year I applied but got denied because of my gre score I really hate that test lol. I then started working as a pt aid in an outpatient clinic and have been working there for about 9 months and it looks like I will be reapplying next cycle unless I hear back from FGCU AND NOVA. It's easy to give up and stress but most of us are young and things eventually work out for the best. Keep up the perseverance.

Does your post reflect the writing style within your application?

Feel free to mix in a few periods in that paragraph. 😛 lol jk bud, your overall message is good! Never give up.

Thanks, Azimuthal (I'm serious). This forum definitely needs a little bit of attitude from time to time. While some relish the fact that "people are so nice here," I often just want someone to have the stones to point out what we're all thinking.

No it doesn't but thanks for your concern. I just wrote it without any concern for grammar or punctuation. That's my bad lol

Correcting other people's grammar as if that invalidates their ideas or indicates that they are uneducated does not make you clever, it is dismissive and makes you appear an a$s. Best of luck to you tonylopez! I am also waiting to hear from FGCU so fingers crossed for us both 🙂

It's called a joke, lighten up!

I was actually concerned since Tony mentioned that he may have to reapply a third time. I'm not a diplomat - so my posts may seem blunt to the thin-skinned. Someone had to ask. Also, I caught the humor in nicolej5's post. Welcome to SDN. :meanie:

Please send me your essay for review to make sure it's readable. 🙂

Increased snarkiness goes hand in hand with PT education becoming competitive. Go look at the med forums and you'll see where we're headed.

Well this escalated quickly...
