Hello guys,
I am foreign trained PT. I failed PT exam 6 times. I studied really hard but not sure what is wrong with my preparation.
I am thinking about taking PTA exam.
Is PTA exam easier than PT exam?
Can i register for both PTA and PT exam?

As far as I know, the only people who can sit for the PTA exam are those individuals who graduated from an accredited PTA school. This means PTs, Chiros, MDs, ect cannot sit for the boards even though they are advanced degrees, unless they also have a PTA degree.

You can have your foreign transcripts reviewed for PTA. That's what many foreign grads do in order to be eligible for the licensure exam, similar to what you did to be eligible for the NPTE. The rules vary by state. The PTA exam is easier. "Follow the PT's POC and address concerns as they arrive" type scenarios.
