My ptal application status says 'ptal written exam deficient' . Is this related to usmle exam status or does it mean something entirely different?

Yes. There were some issues with FSMB score reporting so I had to retransmit my score reports but still nothing.

Whenever threads such as this come up on SDN, my first question I ask myself is "Self, if it was me, wouldn't I call the specific board and ask them, instead of posting my question to a bunch of strangers, whose knowledge ranges from correct to being an absolute crackpot?"

I emailed the analyst twice with no reply. I called, it was a forty minute waiting time and my call got dropped. Sometimes one has to use all resources available and I count this board as one of the resources
