PTCAS essay

I have e-submitted my application but the essay section still allows me to edit and save. Does anyone why it still allows one to do this even though the caption beneath the essay states, "You can NOT make any edits to your personal statement after you have e-submitted your completed application to PTCAS"?

It's only temporary. PTCAS is in the process of revising the application rules so that applicants can't edit the essay after they submit. For those who are still working on the application, assume you will be locked out of your essay after you e-submit. The rule should go into effect any day now.
