I was wondering how much each program takes into account the PTCAS pre-req GPA. For programs that list their own pre-reqs on the PTCAS site, how much do they look at the PTCAS pre-req GPA? The PTCAS pre-reqs usually have classes included that arent required for certain programs (bio 1 and 2, math classes (not statistics)). My pre-req PTCAS calculated grade is a 3.2 but for program specific pre-reqs, can go as high as a 3.65. This is a drastic change. Does each program calculate their own pre-req grades for their applicants?

Ditto that concern.......I contacted one of my schools that listed English, communications and calculus.... I asked if they looked at the courses they require that are not part of the core and they said "yes" That would mean a lot of GPA figuring..... I think I might call again and see if I get the same answer :-0 I messed up by designating abn and dev psych instead of gen psych. DUh.

Curious about this as well as I am applying this summer.
