Hi. So I am not applying this cycle but am taking this year to fully commit in raising my 3.4 cummulative gpa and 2.9 prerequisite gpa (from my application last year). I asked PTCAS about how I would go about inputting grades for repeats if I took a class that covered the same things but at a different college that organized their classes differently such as a combined lecture and lab instead of separate. Their reply was that I would not put it as retake unless I retook it at the same institution. Is this true? When looking at schools and emailing some, they have told me that they take the better grade for the "retake". Does anyone know how this works, since many schools do not allow retakes if the class was above a C-?
