Skim the Delmar's book for a day or two, then pass the test.

reallly? Thank you @pharmerjohn !

Ya, don't even bother buying the book. Spend a weekend at your local bookstore and skim it, paying attention to stuff like DEA# calculation as well as typical pharmacy calculations... That's exactly what I did and I passed by a huge margin.

If you have worked in a pharmacy for greater than 6 months you should have no problem. I took it after 6 months as a tech and didn't study anything. It's pretty basic stuff. That was like 2.5 years ago. I don't think it's changed. But good luck!

As someone with no prior pharmacy experience, the practice test from PTCB was very helpful for me. After reviewing the questions I missed on the practice test, I passed the PTCB exam the first time I took it. I now have a job as a pharmacy tech!

I took the PTCE exam yesterday and the preliminary score said pass. Can I now apply for jobs and say I'm PTCB certified?
