Though I've been accepted into two MPH programs, I'm seriously considering not going next year for a variety of reasons.
Overall, I'm not sure that I'm ready to go back to school. I don't have much experience in public health (only minor volunteer experience) and I think I want to work in the field before I invest so heavily in the degree. I'm a little bit older (29) so it's a scary decision - I might not finish my MPH until I'm in my mid-30s.
I realize I've missed deadlines for some of the best programs, most of which I wasn't aware of until it was too late. In the interest of not missing anymore, is anyone aware of any programs / internships / apprenticeships that still have open deadlines?
Ideally, I'm looking for something paid and longer term with the potential for lots of learning and trying out of different things, but I'm open to ANY suggestions.
