I hope someone can help me with this. Where on the application would you include publications.
i didn't include mine, but the topic came up in every interview since i had extensive research experience.

i would list it under research experience. just mention you have a publication. chances are they will ask you more about it at your interviews.

umm...i feel kinda stupid about this...but i made a humongous mistake...

i worked as an intern at a biomed lab like four years ago in high school and i barely understood the research topic, and all i really did was PCR and gel electrophoresis, you know, intern stuff

BUTTTT

my SUPERVISOR got published and at the end of the publication he thanked me for TECHNICAL SUPPORT!!!

Now...not really understanding what a publication meant exactly, I thought I had a publication 👎 and i wrote it in my aadsas application!!!

and during the mock interview at the pre-health office...the guy asked me about it...and i had NOOOO IDEA....BIG MISTAKE...and the worst part...he told me that I should not even take credit for it because I really am not 'published' ...but by that time, I had already submited my AADSAS application and now I have to expect that question at every interview next year 😕

yikes
