Anyone know what the scope is for anesthesiologists down in Puerto Rico? Do you apply through the match since it's a US territory? I heard they have their own exam. What's the deal?

Yes you apply through the match like any other residency
No they dont have any other exam you have to take.

It is my understanding that the training in PR is in Spanish. If you speak Spanish I suppose that would not be a problem. That could probably work well for some people.

Don't even THINK of applying there, that program is CLOSED, this year CA-3 are the only residents right now. It's so bad that they didn't even get probation. They simply closed it. Trust me, I am from PR and now the details.
