  1. Medical Student
Guys, I have applied for a pulmonary consult elective for the Blocks 3, 4 & 5 at Case Western as a visiting student. It's been more than 9 weeks since I applied there. There is no response of acceptance or denial from them yet. As an international medical student, this opportunity is so important to me and it's really hard for me to take this wait. Please suggest me how the assignment of electives is usually done at Case. Their website says they inform their decision within 6 weeks of sending applications. I've contacted the elective coordinator. She does not have much info.

No one has any idea? :help:

If the elective coordinator doesn't have sufficient info... why would a bunch of random internet strangers have more definitive information?
Any info you get from here is either a) wrong, b) hearsay, c) one person's experience and not applicable to the rest of people, or d) a deliberate attempt to mislead you (it is the internet after all)

As with good research, go to the primary source. In this case that's the elective coordinator.

Thank you very much doctor for sharing your opinion and trying to help. I thought a medical student or a resident from Case western medical school might see my post and share their experience. It's a small world after all.🙂
