I wait, wait, wait and finally get letter from a school I applied to. I slowly open it up and read "congratulations" on the first line, however, the letter inside is not addressed to me, but the outside evelope is. The school is closed and there is no way to find out for twelve grueling hours. 😱

That's HORRIBLE!

Can you look up the person it's addressed to, call them, and see if they have your letter? 🙁

I have and all I got was an answering machine

if this is true, than it is truly the worst thing to have ever happened to a person in the application process 👎

That stinks!!! 😡

Unbelievable!!! Keep us posted with what they say....

What school did this???? That is horrible!

oh gosh its like being stuck in a terrible 12+ hour nightmare.. :scared:

i wish you lots of good lucks for the call you make tomorrow :luck:

That stinks, I hope that doesn't happen to me.

Come to find out that the person whose letter I got received mine and her mother-in-law works with my wife and we were able to trade letters today (she called me back early this morning). We were both accepted to SIUE. The torture has ended and thanks for the support!

Congratulations, bsmith!!! I'm so happy for you 🙂 😀 👍

Yay! I had a good feeling that it was more likely that they would have mixed up to "yes" letters than a yes and a no. But I'm still EXTREMELY happy for you!

What did the school have to say about all of this?

Congrats!! How does it feel to be a part of the first class that will graduate from SIUE?

that must have been stressful. now you can look back on it and laaaaaaaaaughhh

I am relieved and ready to tackle this task......................i hope. They really apologetic and were very nice about the whole thing. I thought it was kinda funny (in retrospect) as I thought pharmacy was all about check and recheck before the product is delivered!!!!!!!!!
