Hi, I already submitted my AMCAS application but I realized I didn't mention anything about the SMP I'm gonna do. When I submitted my application I did not know where I was going to do SMP either Boston or RFU. I still don't know, but should I have put that in? Am I done for?

When entering schools, you should have put in the school you are going to do your smp in. It is very important that you select that no transcript needed otherwise AMCAS will delay your application. Then enter the courses you are going to take at the program making sure to select "current/planned".

What should I do? Does this mean if I go to RFU, then my BMS scores won't be considered for admission to CMS? Can I withdraw my application and resubmit with the changes?

You must enter all transcripts and classes planned over the next year for AMCAS. So whichever SMP you go to, you must enter that in AMCAS

Does anyone know the if the procedure is the same for AACOMAS? or will they not process your application without the transcript for the SMP?

It is the same for AACOMAS.

They will process it but when they find out you didnt include a transcript, you will be in trouble. It counts as lying - you signed the app saying you included everything to the best of your knowledge.

If you didnt include an SMP in the class listing (i realize you wont have a transcript yet) then its trouble

That seems bizarre. What about a kid who applies June 1st, not knowing if he's going to be accepted off of the Georgetown SMP waitlist? It doesn't seem sensible to have the dude wait to submit the application.

You might be able to add planned courses in after you've saved your application, but definitely call AMCAS (they're very helpful).

Well firstly you cant submit june 1 but thats a small point.

Secondly, you either wait or you modify it later.

My point is you can't NOT include it at all. If you submit and then decide to go somewhere then you'll have to go back in and add it, and maybe wait to be re-verified.

Its not that bizarre at all really - but agreed, emailing or calling AMCAS is always good, theyve been great whenever i've had a question

Just for anyone who's wondering...I called AACOMAS, you just have to list the courses/school you'll be attending, list them as "planned/in progress." Although the application will then say that a transcript is required, you can go ahead and submit and they'll verify and send it to schools....They'll only need the postbac/SMP transcript after your first semester. Hope this clears things up!
