if you plan on doing a fellowship, say in derm-path,cyto-path,etc..you will take that particular board exam right? do you also take the board for ap/cp as well or just the board you did your fellowship in?

AP/CP board and dermpath board. Some fellowships don't have boards, but most do. Cytopath and hemepath both do.

at mgh, is advancement based on your inservice exams?

everybody has their own opinion about which programs are good, but i was wondering what programs you think are 'really good' according to region: east,west,midwest,south...and overall.
