Q about Licensure and Opportunities

What could someone do for a job with a medical license? (ie. 12 mos. ACGME training and passed Step 3)

Also, I was told that it is really tough to get a general practitioner job (ie urgent care, etc.) with only medical license. Is this true?

It can be a challenge to obtain an Urgent Care spot....even part-time. They often want BE/BC and occasionally require previous UC experience. These are very cushy gigs (IMO), and heavily coveted by semi-retired docs already on schedule....seeing new blood come-in makes em nervous (ie. less opportunity for shifts); don't be surprised if they bash the crap outta ya behind your back.
