Is using a QBank for only Phys worth it?

Hey guys, I have a general question about Q-bank use alongside classes in curricula that are primarily Physiology based during M1. It sounds like q-banks are super helpful if you're in a true systems-based curriculum that covers phys & path in each block, since you can just filter the q-banks by organs and do questions. But for "traditional" curricula that only cover anatomy & phys for the first year, is it worth it to get USMLE-Rx or Kaplan during M1 just for that? Are there enough physiology-only questions in either of those q-banks to make that worth it price-wise? Or do most questions have some sort of pathophys component to them that would make them too difficult during M1?
(Those two qbanks are the most-cited ones I see on SDN-- other than UWorld, of course-- but if there are any other ones that people have used that would work for phys only, please chime in!)

Thanks! So to clarify, BRS phys has questions after chapters/sections? Or do they also have an online qbank? And do you think that’s probably the best method (just doing questions from textbooks you’re using) in terms of finding phys practice questions instead of paying for a full qbank?

If you want a q-bank, waste Kaplan for first year physiology. Don't use UWorld. Kaplan isn't all that great for step but is good for learning and first pass knowledge testing in first year.

BRS has end of chapter questions and answers in their little books. Those are good as well.

Yes sorry I wasn’t clear. The BRS book has questions and thorough explanations at the end of every chapter. I thought it was really good and honestly that book taught me preclinical physiology.

and to echo others, yes you can do a qbank like kaplan and filter for ms1 subjects and by organ system.

apparently Boards and Beyond is a very good resource for learning physiology as well (among other subjects). Basically there are a ton of resources for learning physiology, the best thing to do is to pick 1 or 2 and really stick with them and hit them hard so it sinks in. Physiology is definitely the most important concept from Ms1.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! Yeah, I definitely wasn't planning to waste UWorld during M1, but also didn't want to waste the money on another one of the popular Qbanks if there aren't even a useful amount of physiology questions that could be filtered. I guess my concern is just finding enough practice questions that can be done alongside classes (if needed) to help solidify the info.

I was just saying it in case someone gave you a dumb idea to waste UWorld, which does happen from time to time.

The Costanzo physiology book is even better to read the physio, in my opinion, but the little BRS books have most of the questions if I recall.
