38. Given a circle A whose diameter is two feet, and a rectangular piece of tin B ten feet by four feet, find, correct to the nearest square foot, the area of tin that will be left after the greatest number of circles the size of A have been cut from B.
A. 8 square feet
B. 10
C. 9
D. 20

I lost the answer sheet. Anyone who can let me know this problem?

Circles are punced 2 rows, 5 across (10 circles). area of each circle is pi(1)(1). total area of 10 is 10pi or about 31.4. Area of the rectangle is 40. remainder area is 40-31.4 or about 9.
