I'll get you started on a link to the schools that offer 0+6 programs. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?p=1700947#post1700947

You apply to them before entering college, so most likely in your senior year of high school unless you want to take a break before entering. For the most part, you need to do your own research because schools have different requirements.

Albany and Duquesne will not be 0-6 programs when you enter. You'd have to do the PCAT and interview, but they both do give preference to their own pre-pharm students.

Start with the websites and searching these boards and other college boards. My D is a senior this year and has accumulated quite a bit of info about the colleges in the northeast. You can pm me if you have specific questions about the programs in that region and I'll try to help - it's a good thing to start a little early!

If you want to go directly in to the 0-6, here is some info I found helpful...not familiar w/ traditional program

Decide what 0-6 programs you're interested in. Most of them require that you apply by around October of your senior year and many require special applications, references, etc. They are looking for a well-rounded person. I would suggest you include a resume of your high school life including sports, theatre, awards...anything you have been recognized for and/or participated in. If possible, get a job at a pharmacy and use a pharmacist as a reference.

Some schools are no requiring interviews. The best advice I got-
APPLY EARLY and VISIT CAMPUS-including meeting w/ someone in the pharmacy department and a guided tour. This matters.

Let your guidance counselor know you have time constraints and you need everything sent out by the end of September- trust me, early matters. Most colleges will let you know their decision by Christmas.
