Anybody know approximately what an average of 65 on qbank translates to on a step 1 score? Is this good enough to pass?

according to what i have heard more than a few times and from a number of sources...a 60 in q-bank translates to about 200...so i guess with a 65 u should be alright

by the way...i took mine yesterday and i had 5+ questions right off q-bank word for word!!! if u r planning to take it soon...do all the questions in q-bank...u will not regret it!!

Legend has it you need over 50% right to correspond to a passing score. I think you're at about 215, if you believe there's a correlation, which I don't.

Anecdotal: I averaged about 71% doing non-random qbank q's and ended up with a 243.

I would tend to agree with the 50-55% is a safe passing score. I averaged a 63% on Qbank and ended up with a 237. However, I think the best correlation is what your average is in the 4 weeks leading up to the exam. During that time, I would say my average was about a 69-70% with several in the high 70's.

I agree 100%. My exam had some questions almost exactly word for word off Qbank too.
