Just wondering what kind of percentages people got when they did QBook (not QBank). I heard it was a good source but the questions don't really seem that hard after the first couple of blocks. Just wanted to make sure I'm not wasting my time.

I didn't keep close tabs, but I think I was probably in the 70-80% range.

It depends on why you are doing questions...if you are doing them purely to review and learn, then it isn't only the ease of questions that matters, but also the quality of discussion given for the answer. To me, any sort of further exposure was helpful; I just found it more stimulating to do questions than reading a book.

QBook does have nice explanations and covers relevant topics, though the questions are not as hard. From the data I have seen, one would want to be around 65% on QBook to feel comfortable passing, 70% near the mean, while 75%+ should beat the mean.

I actually had collected some data from another forum, based off their preparation scores and actual step 2 scores. This was before I heard of the medfriends score estimator... However, medfriends doesn't have a Qbook correlation, so this may be helpful. Manning18, your estimates agree pretty closely to the correlations I found.

The data I saw was on a different forum, though I did play with it a bit. If I remember correctly, the average was 75%/243.
