Trending on social media. A device you wear in your neck that allegedly compresses superficial veins and helps prevent TBI or concussions by maintaining increased intracranial venous pressure.

This looks sketch as anything and does not make intuitive sense.

Any thoughts or peer reviewed data?

Serious, I think I saw a pitch were the inventor’s inspiration came from woodpeckers or some bird species that receive velocity head impacts or something like that.

At least if it doesn’t work, there a whole subset of the population like David Carradine (rip) that may find delight in this.
