QI projects?

Are onc related QI projects looked favorably?

I devoted over 2 years to a QI project in oncology at my institution but realized that I don’t actually have much to show for it. No paper will come out of it as it is for our hospital and not applicable to other hospitals. Was this all for nothing or can I make this look favorable on my application?

Research is research. Published research is better than unpublished research, but unpublished research is better than no research.

You should include it among the list of activities on ERAS, but be prepared for the one odd nitpicky person who might ask you why it wasn't published (happened to me when I listed a medical school project that I presented at two conferences but didn't write a manuscript for). Not a big deal though.
