hey guys, i've picked up a few formulas from the prac. tests i've been taking, but i'm confused when to apply these.

i know for people sitting around a circle the law is (n-1)!

the other two laws i have picked up are when you are grouping things:

n!/(n-r)! and n!/r!(n-r!)...............what is the difference btwn these

last two laws? any help would be appreciated.

first is for permutations, the amount of ways a certain set of data can be arranged...order doesnt matter

second is combinations, the amount of unique ways a certain set of data can be arrange
