Ok
m(exp-2/3) where m = 8
how did they get 1/4 as an answer shouldnt it be 4
 
Get rid of the negative sign and rewrite as
1/(8^(2/3))
Now 8 is the same as 2^3...insert this into the above equation:
1/[2^(3*(2/3))]
3's cancel out and left with
1/(2^2)
=
1/4
