QR question

I've been using the Kaplan book to study. To me it seems like every question they ask in the QR is pretty easy except for the redicously tedious calculations. So many fractions. I understand what I need to do, but the numbers are so hard to work with I end up with the wrong answer, guess im so used to a caculator.

My question, does the real test have more managable numbers ?
