Tom sells one dozen donuts for $4.00. He needs to earn 33% profit in addition so how much would it cost tom per donut if he earns the 33 % profit?

I get 0.44 cents per donut but the answer is 0.50 cents. Can anyone let me know.
 
You answer is correct. I think what happened here is that the solution has rounded up %33 increase to %35. Solving with %35 profite we get:

4 X 1.35 = 5.4
5.4/12=.45
