I know this has been a topic discussed alot, but I take my oat in 3 weeks and haven't even looked at QR. I have the kaplan book, but I saw a lot of negative comments about that section. I also took the kaplan QR practice test just to see where I stand and scored a 300. I don't believe that is saying much, so any recommendations on what to do about this section? Just stick to the kaplan book and pray they cover enough? I also don't want to spend a fortune on any other material

Im sure you've heard of Chad's videos? They are 50 bucks for a month's subscriptions. He has 5 hours worth of lecture videos and tips on the different subjects in the QR section. Also, there are quizzes that accompany most of the lectures. If you need any refreshments on the other topics too, I think Chad's videos are totally worth it.

I took 6 Kaplan tests & never made past a 290 in QR, ended up making a 320 in that section in the real thing. You should be fine. Kaplan covers the scope of questions that you could see on test day. Best way I think is to keep going through questions. The more types of QR questions you're exposed to, the more comfortable & prepared you'll feel. I know a lot of people felt the actual QR section was harder than Kaplan, but I thought it was about the same. Make sure you do follow their strategy & click an answer, mark, then come back at the end & do all the long/hard ones last if you have time! I didn't read let alone solve a lot of the paragraph word problems & just guessed, & still made a decent score! In my opinion at least lol. You'll be fine! Keep practicing.
