QR - standard deviation and variance

So I know for variance, if youre dealing with a population you will use "n" and that if youre dealing with a sample you will use "n-1," but I was wondering if this applies to standard deviation as well?

Yes, according to my elementary stats book.

Std Dev is just the square root of variance. Same conditions apply.
