I read a thing that mentioned a tip for the QR section to help you with angles, and degrees.. Does anyone have any idea what the heck this means??? sqrt2 = square root of 2

Tip: Draw yourself a circle and label the angles (30, 60, 90) and triangle side lengths (1, sqrt2, sqrt3 ) with sin, cos and tan noted. Memorize it and/or reproduce it quickly on your scratch paper

thanks

I would like to know too. I'm confused about that tip. I don't remember there being a square root 2 in a 30/60/90 triangle. To my knowledge, 30/60/90 only has 1, square root 3, and 2.

good point... I copied it word for word tho... I still have no idea how to use it, even if it wasnt sqrt 2 or just plain old 2.....
