quadratic equation for acid-base problems?

Hey guys, are there any problems on the DAT where you have to use the quadratic formula, because the estimation method is too inaccurate? Forgive me if this is an obvious question after doing lots of practice problems...haven't gotten that far in my studying yet.

Most of the ones I've come across I've been able to factor out.

No you won't have to use the quadratic formula at all...you don't have a calculator so it wouldn't be very reasonable. I've never come across any problems where you even had to make an estimation. You guys freak out over nothing.
