Can anyone help me with my question about programe held at university of toronto...
What is the difference between Qualifying Programe and International Dentist Advanced Placement Program held at University of toronto?

Please reply after reading faculty of dentistry calendar at university of toronto i am sending the link below and please concentrate on
3 International Dentist Advanced Placement Program on page number :45 and
4 Qualifying Program in Dentistry on page number : 53 and
7 Awards, Financial Assistance & Fees on page number: 88

hi...well till last year uft had qp program since they werent giving degree......from this year they have changed to idap program?(the new name) and they will be awarding degree rather then certificates to the graduates......

thanx dear for your valuable reply.... after that even i had inquired at university of toronto and also to certification authority NDEB of canada.. and they had said that in qualifying programe we have to study 2 years (ie 3rd and final) but in IDAPP they had added four month study to prepare student to place them directly in third year of DDS and it cost around 40,000$ extra for this four month and after finishing that the course is same like qualifying programe....

I WAS NOT AWARE THAT UofT HAS CHANGED ITS PROG, TO A DEGREE PROG, BUT DR.YMP, WHATS THAT ALL ABT EXTRA 4 MNTHS. USUALLY ALSO ,AN INTERNATIANALLY TRAINED DENTIST GETS INTO 3RD YEAR, I AM AFRAID I DIDNT UNDRSTAND THAT.COULD YOU PLEASE SPECIFY ABT THAT..

Actually after clearing eligibility exam when we get admission in Qulifying programme at university they put us directly in third year and final year of DDS. but as uoft had change there programe to IDAPP in this they take four months more and in these four months they teach us basics and preclinical subjects and then they put us in third year of dds programme...
