qualities you will bring to a school?

I am in the midst of completing my secondaries and was wondering if I could get some suggestions on good answers for the questions: what particular qualities do you feel you can bring to the school? A few schools ask it but the one I am currently working on is UNECOM.

I have stuff to write but it all sounds kind of cliché. Any suggestions on responces that will make an impact.

Well, ya just gotta write what you think. Put yourself in the shoes of the adcom who sees so many apps.

Write down anything that you think is unique about yourself. This can include experiences, knowledge, and so on.

Be sincere. What qualities are you most proud of in yourself? How did you develop them? How have you demonstrated them?

Being able to say "X, shown by Y and Z ECs." is much better than just saying, "I'm a people person!"

my thing for these things is to just be sincere, for real. i wrote a PS that didnt start out with a tale of me seeing a boy with leukemia in the childrens hospital...it just was me you know. so for this q, if i had it, i would just say the qualities i think i have the most of...what is it that you are exceptional at? is it work ethic? i had to work soooo hard to bring a like 2.5 GPA freshman year up to where i got it. i also had to work sooo hard to get a 30 on the mcat. i had to work so hard for a really long time and i did it because i wanted it so bad you know...so then you have passion and just sheer strength of conviction that medicine is the only fit for me...or for you 🙂 just write from your heart is my advice because they all read so much crap anyway!! 🙂 and maybe someone will read what you've written and see a real person behind it, not another kiss ass premed 😉
