Quantitative Reasoning

I would concentrate on understanding the practice exam questions from OPTED. Since they write the test.

Kaplan is usually much harder than the type of questions they ask.

I just read that this portion of the test is way harder than opted so I would be a little afraid to trust it as a guide.

It's "harder" because of the time pressure in all honesty. Look at problems similar to the opted ones and make sure you have no trouble doing them quickly.

I used the Destroyer QR and that was a great source of practice problems

raleighzia im right there with you. I can do the math okay with a calculator but without one its horrible. Plus, whats the deal with all this trig stuff? It is horrible.

arctic, is there a book or study material you used which helped you with the math section? I saw the example you gave about trig symmetry on your website and I didn't know how you got to that answer. Anything you used/did (other than kaplan) that helped?

I second Orgoman QR. The questions are exactly like the ones on the Opted exam, except there are tons of them. I also have the Kaplan book. Their questions aren't terrible, but there aren't as many questions so I stopped using it after I got the Orgoman book.
