Hello,

I go to a university with quarter system, and our grades for this quarter will not be updated on the official transcript until end of June.

If I decide to apply on June 3rd, then the classes will not be listed on the official transcript.

Is that okay, or am I supposed to update the AADSAS later?

This is fine, you'll be able to do Academic Update where you send in your new transcripts in November - don't stress.

Is that academic update required by the AADSAS to complete the application?

I may end up with a B+ in my upper div writing class..

im on a quarter system too. if we rly need the gpa bump we should wait for spring quarter grades to appear on our transcript before submitting?

Unless you're on the border between say 2.99 and 3.0, you should submit your App ASAP, and not wait. As the benefit of getting it in a month earlier will likely outweigh a minor GPA bump. And don't worry about a B+, horror of horrors, haha. 😉 Academic Update isn't...required.... but, say if you haven't had yes/no's on interview invites at that point, some schools will wait to get the update to send an interview invite. But before then it doesn't really matter.
