The thing about Quarter Hours, and Semester hrs or terms are confusing me big time! Can someone lend me a hand?

Usually how many months is a Quarter hr?
MY school uses "term" in which 1 yr has 2 terms ( Sept to Dec. Jan to May)
how can I convert term to Sem Hrs and Quarter Hrs?

I believe they're referring to "credit hours" -- which can be called "semester hours" or "quarter hours", depending on which system your school is on (your "terms" sound like semesters -- two per year). My microbiology lecture, for example, was a 3 credit hour class, so since we were on the semester system, I put it down on my application as 3 semester hours.

There are two semesters per school year versus three quarters per school year (excluding summer.) To convert semester hour = (quarter hour) x (2/3)

there is the equation of (quarter hour) x (2/3), or if you want to make it simple, just list the amount of hours you have per term, and include a letter explaining the terms
