There's the possibility I may not be able to get into Human Anatomy & Physiology II for the Spring quarter - destroying my chances for pharmacy school this year. I am pursuing alternatives and have e-mailed the relevant pharmacy schools, but worst case scenario? I have the ability to re-locate to another region of the U.S. to get this done, if necessary.

I currently live in California, but if I need to pay out of state tuition for a community college, I'm willing to do so.

Looking up every community college in the U.S. is going to be a pain in the butt, so if you could chime in and give me a school to look into, then you get an intangible internet cookie. Giving me a community college which just uses the quarter system, whether or not it offers A&P II, would be helpful too.

If you are in Southern California you could try the various JC's around here (ELAC, PCC, OCC, SMC, etc.). They offer anatomy and physiology courses taught within the same semester (8 weeks anatomy followed by 8 weeks physiology). It's a bit accelerated but shouldn't be that difficult. I think you also need instructor approval to enroll, but I could be wrong.

Best of luck to you.

I assume you already considered DeAnza College and Foothill College, since those are two of the three CCs in California on the quarter system, and the only two that offer A&P II in the spring (as the second of a three-course sequence).

Portland Community College (Portland, OR) and Clark College in Vancouver, WA are also on the quarter system and also offer A&P II in the spring.

The UC system (don't know about Berkeley) offers classes in the summer over a 5 week period. Summer starts in June

http://www.summer.uci.edu/ - reg starts March 1st - UCI doesn't have anatomy lab unless they changed it since 2008

I was in the same situation and I got into a school which has started last Saturday. Most schools don't have openings due to nursing majors so be prepared to wait for an hour or so for each class you are trying to add.

The only school that hasn't started yet that I can think of is UCLA extension. They offer human anatomy class which is full right now but there is a chance of getting in if students drop within the first week. Try calling them and ask them to put you on the waitlist.

Also try looking at this list: http://www.cccco.edu/CommunityColle...geListingsAlphabetical/tabid/643/Default.aspx

It lists all the CC's in CA. This is where I found my lucky choice that I have never heard before. Good luck!
