For the AACOMAS grade part, the drop down has letter grades and number grades (4.0-0.0 scale). Which do I use? For the Actual Grade I am just putting the letter grade. I am just confused about the AACOMAS Grade part, how do I know if I use the letter grade like "A" or "4.0"? thanks.

From what I understand, you should use the letter grade unless it is a half-grade(I.E. 2.5 OR 3.5), in which case you use the number. But, it depends on hour your school's grade system matches up with AACOMAS. At my schools, we used 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, 2.5, 2.0, 1.5, 1.0, .5, 0. I used the letter grade for my 4.0, 3.0, and 2.0 and I used the number for 3.5, and 2.5's.

Did aacomas count these as 3.5 for your GPA?

My undergrad gives letter grades and uses half grades (A+, A, A- ...). For the AACOMAS grade, I used my school's grade except in the case of the rare A+, which I gave an AACOMAS grade of "A." Did I do that wrong? I'd appreciate any help.

I'm just matching up the grades on my transcripts with the AACOMAS grades. Is this correct? I have no idea. I'll find out after I submit it. :scared:

I just called AACOMAS with the same question. The instructions on the application were not quite clear to me. The guy I spoke with said that these grades are usually the same as the actual grade. For instance, on my transcripts, grades are listed as just "A", "B", etc. So this is what I will put for both the AACOMAS grade and the actual grade.

Hope this helps
