So, I spent about:

$600 for my application
$250 for supplemental fees
$4200 for my tuition to a grad school program
$250 for books

For a grand total of $5100. I need to send 2X2 photographs to UDM and UM and I have some left over from passport pictures I took last year. My question to you guys is: do I have to be smiling in the picture (this is not the case for the pictures I currently have)? As you can probably guess, I'm running low on cash so I need to know if I need to get new pictures taken. I'd rather not, but it will be a small price to pay in the long run.

Thanks in advance for the help!

just send something decent. i just saw 'the pursuit of happiness' and will smith got a job while coming dressed as a garbage man

Use a digital camera, print out a dozen photos at Costco for $3, and cut it down to 2x2 at Kinkos for free.

A career as a dentist ...... priceless.

I just took a picture with a digicam resized it in photoshop and then printed it out on photo paper... Worked pretty well, and it's pretty cheap if you already have the camera (1 sheet of photo paper will make a lot of headshots).

i think a person should be smiling in their picture, i mean wouldn't you rather interview someone that looks friendly instead of someone that looks like they are about to blow up something? haha
