Question about a class retake.

My friend took anatomy and physiology as two separate courses at a university and recieved a C in both. Now she is moving to a new city where the university she will transfer to only offers Anatomy & Physiology I (combined). If she took A&P and got an A how would that factor into her gpa via AMCAS/AACOMAS? Will it be counted as another science course entirely or will it average with either her Anatomy or Physiology C grades from before?
