Question about a EC

Searched the board and I didn't find anything such as this. If there was something please forgive my ignorance. My question is, I'm a moderator at on a message board that has around 40k concurrent viewers and affiliated with big names in the industry. I spend a good amount of time regulating the board among a slew of other things, would this be considered as some sort of EC? I do not get paid for this service.

Why wouldn't it be?

ECs are things you do that contribute to the overall good of mankind. And/or just things you like to do that define you as a person.

Thats what I was thinking, however, I wasn't exactly sure, so I wanted to know if it would be something worthy to put on my application or something that would get laughed at.
