I just recently graduated with my B.S. in health science and I am continuing my post-bacc courses (1.5-2 more years) for dental school. I was just wondering if there is any kind of job I can get right now with my degree or is it useless? My main goal is obviously dental school but it would be great if I can get a health care related job now to boost my app. I currently work for my father but it is part time and not related at all to dentistry. Thanks for any input

A job wont help your chances of getting into d-school, it will only provide you with $$$ for your expenses. Google what you can find and see what types of jobs are out there. My friend worked as a Project Manager at a Biotech firm in his gap year between undergrad and med school.

I have been researching, it just seems like there are so many different things you can do.

you can always try to apply for a adjunct position at your university, while you wait. That's my plans, but I don't sharing :laugh::laugh:
