i read the faq, but still doesnt answer my question. can a pharamists perscribe medicine to a patient or do they have to have a perscribtion. second do they have to answer questions as which medicine to take about their problems. im asking since im thinking about pharmacists as a career but worried about always remembering what goes with what. like for ex i have a bad day and i forgot that your supposed to take this if u are having this problem but gave the patient the wrong medicine!

yeap, in michigan you can have 5 or 6 "bad" days a year when you can openly say to a patient that you don't remember what goes with what, and they are forbidden to be angry.

Yes! I knew that's why deep down I really want to go to pharmacy school at the Univeristy of Michigan, well, that and the football tickets. I suppose I will have to decrease my "bad" days to 2 or 3 days for these season tickets?

One of my biggest fears about a job is having to know something. I generally try to avoid it all costs - but every now and agian I get that little inckling - should I learn something about my profession?? When that happens though - I just prescribe myself something from the CII safe, and all is well

I swear, I have read this OP about 51 times, and I still can't stop laughing.

I bet he's rethinking his career as a pharamist after seeing who he would have to put up with every day! lol
