I want to apply for osteopathic medical schools for the 2017-2018 cycle and I was hoping to be approved for the fee waiver. (http://help.unicas.com:8888/aacomas...ams/aacomas-fee-assistance-program/index.html)

However, it says the funds for the 2017 AACOMAS FAP have been depleted. Then, on the bottom, it says you have to submit your application within 14 days of being approved for the fee waiver. I'm a bit confused because the application for the 2017-2018 cycle hasn't even been opened yet, so how can the funds already be depleted?

Just making sure the 2017 AACOMAS FAP refers to the previous cycle, right? Thanks!

That is for the class entering 2017. Nothing is ready for the class entering in 2018.
